This place is ruled by monkeys, so avoid taking food with you, as you can get rid of it very quickly. In front of the temple you’ll meet numerous pigeons, and in the cave’s gloom several roosters that have been offered to Lord Murugan, whose huge statue painted in gold stands right by the stairs.

Entrance to this place is free of charge.
