Trinidad in Cuba is probably exactly what all travelers hope for from their trip to Cuba. The rather small town in the center of the country has everything the heart desires. Many small streets, covered with cobblestones, which give the place an idyllic picture. Small restaurants with great flair and exciting bars where life flourishes.

On our trip across Cuba, we all left our hearts in Trinidad. Beautiful and different from the rest of the country. Whether strolling through the alleys during the day, enjoying a cool drink while listening to Cuban music, or simply observing life in the main market. In the center of town, everything is ideally within walking distance. If you are looking for a few famous sights, you don’t have to look far.

Trinidad is a little dream.

Pretty much in the same place you can find everything known in the center with one turn. The Plaza Mayor is also home to the Colonial Architecture Museum, the Museum of the Cuban Revolution and the Palacio Brunet. If you are interested and have time, you can spend your time here. We, on the other hand, appreciated even more to get in touch with the local people and have some small talk with them. These are also the emotional memories that stay with you long after the trip. It’s too exciting to talk about local life and learn about people’s experiences and views in a foreign country.

As beautiful as Trinidad is, there is not much else to discover on site. One day is more than enough to experience the beauty of the city and enjoy a wonderful and unforgettable time. If you have enough time left and have seen everything in the city, you can enjoy the beach life outside at Playa Ancón and cool off in the Caribbean Sea.
